There Will Be No Intermission

In uscita l’8 marzo 2019 (il giorno della festa delle donne), There Will Be No Intermission è il nuovo album di Amanda Palmer. A produrlo troviamo John Congleton, tra i collaboratori si segnalano Jason Webley, Jherek Bischoff, il tastierista Max Henry e il batterista Joey Waronker, ad anticiparlo il singolo Drowning in the Sound, brano già pubblicato in forma di demo all’interno della campagna/supporto alle vittime dell’uragano Harvey nel Texas (2017). Nella nota, l’artista ha dichiarato che la canzone è «a response to the insanity of internet politics melded with the total eclipse and the devastation of hurricane harvey», e che l’intero album parla di storie di «abortion, miscarriage, cancer, grief, the darker sides of parenthood».
