Finding Gabriel è il nuovo album di Brad Mehldau, in uscita il 17 maggio 2019 via Nonesuch. «L’album – si legge nel comunicato stampa diffuso dall’etichetta discografica – comprende nove brani legati tra loro tematicamente, e vede Mehldau suonare il pianoforte, il synth e il Fender Rhodes, oltre che cantare. Tra i musicisti chiamati a collaborare ci sono Ambrose Akinmusire, Sara Caswell, Kurt Elling, Joel Frahm, Mark Guiliana, Gabriel Kahane e Becca Stevens».
«Finding Gabriel è nato dopo aver letto la Bibbia attentamente durante gli ultimi anni», ha puntualizzato il musicista.
