Field Recording and Fox Spirits è un nuovo lavoro di David Toop, in uscita l’11 settembre 2020 via Room40. Il disco raccoglie registrazioni personali del compositore newyorchese, assemblando performance dal vivo, interviste e registrazioni sul campo. Il tutto accompagnato da un libro di 40 pagine contenente una “lunga conversazione con David Toop”, nonché opere visive e fotografie provenienti dal suo archivio. Da notare, tra i titoli, le “conversation” con Derek Bailey e Ornette Coleman.
