Il disco, registrato ai Guilford House, nel Connecticut, e ai soliti Inner Ear, con il sodale ingegnere Don Zientara (ma senza Ted Niceley), amplia ancor di più il ventaglio d’influenze già esplorato nel precedente In on the Kill Taker e sottopone il sound della band a un approccio più sperimentale che apre a noise punk, psichedelia e dub.
