Decimo disco del cantante blues americano Josh Ritter, che segue Gathering del 2017. Fever Breaks è stato prodotto da Jason Isbell, vincitore ai Grammy per svariati dischi e singoli di musica roots americana. L’album è stato suonato insieme al gruppo The 400 Unit negli storici studi RCA di Nashville e propone sonorità che spaziano dal blues alle ballad acustiche, dal country al rock, ispirandosi in qualche punto a Bob Dylan (Blazing Highway Home).
