Dopo cinquant’anni di onorata carriera, torna Michael Chapman con un nuovo album. Il settantottenne cantante e chitarrista folk blues inglese pubblica l’8 febbraio 2019 per Paradise of Bachelors True North, in collaborazione con una band di musicisti di grande esperienza: Steve Gunn alla produzione e alla chitarra, Bridget St. John alla voce solista e di accompagnamento, Sarah Smout al violoncello e BJ Cole alla pedal steel (già con John Cale, Scott Walker, Elton John, Terry Allen, Felt e Björk).
Il disco viene definito dalla cartella stampa «più intimo e minimalista rispetto al precedente». L’album è stato registrato nellle campagne del Galles dell’Ovest e viene anticipato da un teaser che potete vedere di seguito.
