In uscita l’8 settembre 2017, Mountain Moves è il nuovo album dei Deerhoof che segue The Magic (2016). Prodotto da Children of Hoof Radio, Television Orchestra e dalla stessa band, il disco è frutto di una residency presso la indie label e presenta numerosi ospiti come Juana Molina, Xenia Rubinos, Matana Roberts, Awkwafina e Læticia Sadier (Stereolab).
Ad anticiparlo, il brano I Will Spite Survive, condiviso per lo streaming congiuntamente all’annuncio del disco il 28 giugno. Il 5 agosto viene diffuso il secondo estratto, il brano Come Down Here And Say That con il featuring di Lætitia Sadier degli Stereolab. Di seguito l’ascolto di entrambi gli estratti.
