Dialectic of Ignorance è il nuovo album dei Pontiak, in uscita il 24 marzo 2017 via Thrill Jockey. Il disco è stato registrato in Virginia, nello Studio A di proprietà della band; nelle note stampa allegate si parla di «desert session groove», «armonie vocali alla David Gilmour» e «psychoacustica dose di inerzia cerebrale».
«Producendo birra [i Nostri hanno aperto il loro birrificio artigianale nel 2015, ndSA] e registrando canzoni nel cuore delle Blue Ridge Mountains, I Pontiak hanno fuso hard riff e veloci armonie», si legge sempre nella press release.
