Sparkle In The Rain è il sesto album in studio dei Simple Minds, pubblicato originariamente il 6 febbraio 1984. Prodotto da Steve Lillywhite, raggiunse il primo posto della UK Album Chart trainato da singoli di successo come Waterfront, Speed Your Love To Me e Up On The Catwalk; rimasterizzato in digitale nel 2002 da Simon Heyworth, il disco è oggetto di una lussuosa super deluxe edition la cui uscita è prevista per il 17 marzo 2015, con quattro CD (due dei quali contengono le Radio One Sessions del 1983 e un concerto registrato alla Glasgow Barrowlands Ballroom) nuovamente restaurati presso gli Abbey Road Studios e un DVD contenente anche un nuovo mix 5.1 di Steven Wilson. Disponibili anche ristampe in vinile, su singolo e doppio CD con una selezione di b-sides e rarità.
