Non passano molti mesi senza un nuovo album di Ty Segall e nemmeno il 2018 fa eccezione. Dopo Freedom’s Goblin (gennaio), l’ottimo lavoro a doppia firma assieme a White Fence (luglio) e il sophomore dei GØGGS (fine settembre), l’instancabile garage rocker pubblicherà in ottobre un album di sole cover. Titolo: Fudge Sandwich, ovvero “tramezzino al caramello” (quello della copertina). Band e artisti presi di mira: 11 tra cui John Lennon (Isolation), i Funkadelic (Hit It And Quit It), Neil Young (The Loner) e persino i Gong (Pretty Miss Titty) e gli Sparks (Slowboat).
