Sono uscite le nomination per la prossima edizione dei Grammy, prestigioso riconoscimento internazionale giunto alla 62° edizione che ogni anno premia numerosi protagonisti del music business in un variegato set di categorie. Per l’Italia, l’unico nominato, all’interno della categoria Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album, è Andrea Bocelli con l’album dei record Sì (contemporaneamente al primo posto delle classifiche Usa e Uk). Altre nomination sono andate a Lizzo (che ha sbancato con 8), Billie Eilish e Lil Nas X (entrambi con 6), seguiti a ruota da Ariana Grande, Beyoncé, J. Cole e Thom Yorke. La grande assente dalle nomination dei premi più ambiti è Taylor Swift, mentre per quanto riguarda il frontman dei Radiohead, il musicista gareggia per il premio Alternative Album of the Year con l’ultimo lavoro Anima – assieme a Big Thief, James Blake e Bon Iver – ma anche in altre tre categorie minori (Best Song Written For Visual Media per Suspirium, Best Music Film per Anima e Best Boxed or Special Limited Edition Package sempre per Anima).
