In uscita il 15 dicembre 2014 via Nonesuch, Inherent Vice: The Soundtrack è la colonna sonora di Inherent Vice, film diretto da Paul Thomas Anderson ispirato dall’omonimo romanzo di Thomas Pynchon pubblicato nel 2009. Oltre ai brani curati da Jonny Greenwood, la soundtrack del lungometraggio presenta anche una nuova versione di Spooks, traccia dei Radiohead, suonata dallo stesso Greenwood accompagnato da Gaz Coombes e Dany Goffey dei Supergrass e lo spoken-word di Joanna Newsom (in streaming nel box widget via Stereogum). Tra gli altri artisti presenti segnaliamo anche Can, Neil Young e Minnie Ripperton. Di seguito, il trailer del film in uscita a dicembre negli Stati Uniti.
