Venerdì 22 luglio vi avevamo parlato di un nuovo box set di David Bowie intitolato Who Can I Be Now? (1974 – 1976) e contenente, tra gli album, l’inedito The Gouster, disco mai pubblicato per intero prima di oggi e dal cui materiale rielaborato sarebbe nato Young Americans.
Sono ora disponibili tutti i dettagli sul boxset a partire dalla data d’uscita (23 settembre 2016 via Parlophone) per arrivare ai formati (digitale, 12xCD e 13xLP) e al suo contenuto. Oltre al già citato The Gouster, i fan del Duca Bianco troveranno le versioni rimastarizzate di Diamond Dogs, Young Americans, Station to Station (con mix originale e quello del 2010), David Live (mix originale e quello del 2005) e Live Nassau Coliseum ’76. Presente inoltre Re:Call 2, nuova compilation composta da singoli e b-side assenti dagli album.
Il cofanetto conterrà, infine, un libretto comprendente numerose fotografie scattate, tra gli altri, da Eric Stephen Jacobs, Tom Kelley, Geoff MacCormack, Terry O’Neill, Steve Schapiro, oltre alle note di copertina firmate da Tony Visconti e Harry Maslin. (1974 – 1976) e, sempre su SA, trovate il dettaglio su Five Years (1969-1973), primo della serie di boxset, pubblicato a settembre dello scorso anno.
