In attesa dell’uscita dell’autobiografia The Beautiful Ones, gli eredi di Prince hanno annunciato una sontuosa ristampa dell’iconico 1999, l’album che il Purple One e la sua Revolution pubblicarono originariamente il 27 ottobre 1982 nonché il lavoro dal quale furono estratti il singolo omonimo (sua prima top 10 hit al di fuori degli Stati Uniti), Little Red Corvette, How Come U Don’t Call Me Anymore?, Delirious, Automatic e Let’s Pretend We’re Married.
La nuova edizione uscirà il 29 novembre via Warner Records sia in versione super deluxe (5 CD o 10 LP e un DVD), sia Deluxe (2 CD o 4 LP a 180 gr), sia standard (1 CD o 2 LP). Ad accompagnare la ristampa: inedite note del cantante e rare foto degli 80s scattate dal fotografo Allen Beaulieu.
