Dopo un lunghissimo tour oltreoceano, Roger Waters è approdato in Europa, e ieri è stato il turno dell’Italia. L’ex-Pink Floyd si è esibito al Mediolanum Forum di Assago, dove replicherà anche stasera, per la prima delle otto date nel nostro paese (altre quattro sempre ad aprile ma a Bologna, per poi rimandare l’appuntamento a questa estate, a Lucca e a Roma). L’occasione è quella di promuovere l’ultimo album di inediti del bassista – Is This the Life We Really Want? – uscito a più di 25 anni di distanza da Amused to Death, ma anche diffondere la martellante campagna anti-Trump (e anti-totalitarismi) che ormai fa parte del codice genetico di Waters.
Oltre ai nuovi brani (Déjà Vu, The Last Refugee) spazio anche per le floydiane incursioni in The Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here e specialmente The Wall e Animals.
