T2: Trainspotting è la soundtrack ufficiale dell’omonimo film di Danny Boyle, sequel del cult del 1996 e basato sul romanzo di Irvine Welsh, Porno.
In tracklist spiccano alcuni classici del rock e protagonisti della soundtrack del film originale: gli Underworld chiudono con Slow Slippy (take da Born Slippy), Lust For Life di Iggy Pop non poteva mancare (anche se è qui presente in un remix dei Prodigy), ma scorrendo troviamo anche l’anthem dei Queen Radio Ga Ga, come Dreaming di Blondie e (White Man) In Hammersmith Palais dei Clash. Tra i nuovi gruppi inseriti in scaletta ci sono invece gli Young Fathers (con ben tre brani), ma anche Fat White Family e – i già svelati – Wolf Alice.
