Sono state rivelate le nomination della 90ª edizione degli Oscar, la cui cerimonia, presentata nuovamente da Jimmy Kimmel, si terrà al Dolby Theatre di Los Angeles il prossimo 4 marzo.
Presentate dagli attori Tiffany Haddish e Andy Serkis oggi, 23 gennaio, le candidature vedono l’Italia festeggiare con ben quattro nomination, tutte affidate al film di Luca Guadagnino Call Me By Your Name / Chiamami col tuo nome, ovvero quella per il miglior film, il miglior attore protagonista (a Timothée Chalamet), la migliore sceneggiatura non originale (a James Ivory) e la miglior canzone (a Sufjan Stevens con Mystery Of Love). Era dal 1999 che un lungometraggio di un regista italiano non rientrava nella rosa dei nominati per la categoria miglior film: allora venne candidata La vita è bella, che si aggiudicò poi l’Oscar come miglior film straniero. Sempre per quanto riguarda la soundtrack di Guadagnino, il brano di Stevens non è il solo presente a suo nome, in quanto la colonna sonora comprende anche Visions Of Gideon e Futile Devices (quest’ultima nella versione remix di Doveman).
